When two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled for your company account, administrators can whitelist specific IP addresses. Users logging in from these IPs are not prompted for 2FA, which improves convenience in trusted environments (e.g., office network). Be aware: whitelisting reduces security and should be used carefully.
Feature access
Only users with the Administrator role can add, edit, or remove IP addresses from the whitelist. Available for all plans.
Before you begin
- Collect the correct static IP address(es) for your office network.
- Avoid adding personal or home IPs, as these often change and may lead to access or security issues.
Video instructions
A short step-by-step guide will follow soon!
Steps
Go to Settings in the top-right corner of your screen.
Select Company account.
Open the Users tab.
Click on Manage IP Whitelist.
Enter the IP Address and a Description (e.g., “Main office Amsterdam”).
Click Add.
The IP will now appear in the whitelist.
To make changes:
Edit the entry to update IP or description
Remove the entry to re-enable 2FA for that IP
Tips and best practices
- Whitelist only static IP addresses from secure company networks.
- Review the whitelist regularly and remove outdated entries.
- Avoid personal, home, or remote IP addresses to maintain security.
Troubleshooting

Check if their home IP was mistakenly added.
- User prompted for 2FA inside the office?
Confirm the office IP address hasn’t changed and matches the whitelist entry.
