Notification Center
The Notification Center lets you automatically receive email alerts when specific events occur in ProductIP. Use it to monitor document updates, regulatory or compliance changes, and project progress—either instantly or bundled in scheduled notifications—so you stay informed without manually checking the platform.

Before you begin
You need an active ProductIP account and valid email addresses to receive notifications.

Steps
Add subscriptions via tab Subscriptions:
- Go to Settings (the wrench icon) > Notification Center.
- Click Add subscription.
- Fill in the required fields (marked with *) using the dropdown menus.
The field Execution type determines when the notification should be sent:
Immediate - one email per event, or
Delayed - a summary of all events based on the selected frequency, date, or time.
4. Enter Recipient group name and click Add new recipient group.
5. Enter the Name and E-mail address of the recipient.
6. To add more recipients, click Add, otherwise click Save & Close. The recipient groups, names and email addresses will appear under Recipients.
7. Repeat step 4 - 7 to add more recipient groups.
8. Edit or delete the recipient groups or email addresses if needed.
9. Click Save to activate the subscription.
Add recipient groups via tab Recipient groups:
- Click Recipient groups.
- Click New recipient group.
- Enter Recipient group name (required) and at least one recipient Name and E-mail.
- Click Add recipient.
- Click Save.
- Repeat the above steps to add more recipient groups.
Use the icons on the right (Edit, Manage Recipient Group, Delete, Enable or Disable) to modify the subscription settings.
Tips and best practices
- Use scheduled notifications for high-volume events to avoid inbox overload.
- Create separate subscriptions for different event types (for example, document vs. technical updates).
- Review subscriptions regularly to keep alerts relevant and actionable.
Troubleshooting
- Not receiving emails?
Check your spam folder and verify that the correct recipient email or group is selected.
- Too many notifications?
Edit the subscription and switch from immediate to scheduled delivery.

FAQ
- Can I receive multiple events in one email?
Yes. Choose a scheduled notification to receive a single email containing all events up to the defined time.
- Can I manage the recipient group per event notification?
Yes. You can add or remove recipients or recipient groups using the Manage Recipient Group icon on the right side of each subscription.
