Before you begin

  • Supported document formats: JPG, PNG, and PDF
  • Ensure that the document name matches the article number or EAN code in the technical file

  1. Open the technical file.
  2. Go to the Documents tab.
  3. Click Import documents.
  4. Select the documents or images you want to import.
  5. Click Save & Close or Save to confirm your selection.

The selected documents will be added to the list of Collected documents.

Tips and best practices

  • The document name must match the article number or EAN code in the technical file.
  • The document name must start with the alphanumeric article number (letters and numbers only) or the alphanumeric EAN code, followed by one of the following extensions: .jpg, .png or .pdf.
  • Included additional information in the document name to improve searchability after importing. Use an underscore (_), period (.), hyphen (-), or space to separate this additional information from the article number or EAN code.
  • If the same item is purchased from multiple suppliers, all available images will be shown together. Separate supplier-specific images are not supported.
  • Keep product images up to date to ensure accurate product information.

Troubleshooting

  • I cannot see the Import documents button.
Verify that your account uses an Advanced, Professional, or Enterprise subscription and that you have sufficient permissions.
  • My uploaded documents are not available in the technical file.
Make sure the names of the uploaded documents match the article number or EAN code in the technical file.
  • My uploaded image does not appear on the Product tab.
Make sure the image document is correctly named.
