Tips and best practices

  • All dashboard changes are user-specific. Other users must configure their own dashboards.
  • Keep requirement lists up to date. Avoid leaving requirements open or excluded without a reason.
  • Use document risks to reflect real operational impact. Low-risk documents reduce false alerts and improve dashboard status accuracy.
  • Update workflow status to track progress and mark technical files as completed when work is finished.
  • Activate supplier profiles to identify suppliers that delay document delivery.
  • Review element descriptions in ProductIP to choose the most relevant charts for your workflow.

Troubleshooting

  • No data shown on the dashboard

Ensure technical files, workflow status, and supplier profiles are configured and contain data.

  • Charts show incorrect status

Check that document risks and requirement statuses are set correctly.

FAQ

  • Can other users see my dashboard changes?

No. Dashboard configuration is saved per user.

  • Can I share dashboards with external users?

You can download and share dashboards, but external users cannot access them directly in ProductIP.
